The 7 km trail shown on the map opposite offers a fascinating way of discovering Alfred Sisley’s work, one of the purest and most authentic 19th century impressionist landscape painters. As you stroll along the paths in Moret, Saint Mammès and Veneux-Les Sablons, you can stop at the exact spots where the artist placed his easel. 15 plaques have been placed along the way with reproductions of Sisley’s works and an explanatory text.
