Set amidst the enchanting Gâtinais country, Remauville has been, over the years, under the influence of the larger boroughs nearby, in turns, Nemours or Château-Landon. In a strong position because of its agricultural past, specializing in sheep-breeding, an unusual trait in The Ile de France of the 19th century, Rémauville was the first village to regroup its lands after the First World War.
In the heart of the village with a population of five hundred inhabitants, you will enjoy seeing the Church Saint-Médard, a “Listed Historic Monument”, featuring a square tower, typical of the region.
18 km loop. Starting point and recommended parking: rue Grande car park
It was designated a « Listed Historic Monument » in 1926
